Universal Quick Release Left Foot Accelerator

Seat Runner Mount Pedal Transfer

From £599.00

Brig-Ayd’s Seat Runner Mounted Pedal Transfer allows the driver to operate the accelerator with their left foot, while the right is protected by a pedal guard.

Key features

  • Transfers the throttle to a new left foot accelerator pedal

  • Original accelerator protected by pedal guard

  • Retains the use of the right pedal for right-foot drivers

Product description

Designed for drivers unable to operate the accelerator with their right foot, an additional pedal is fitted to the left of the brake enabling you to control the vehicle’s throttle with your left foot.

This universal quick release left foot accelerator also provides a pedal guard to prevent accidental operation of the original accelerator. This can be quickly detached to return control to the original pedal. This makes it ideal for shared vehicles.

This is particularly beneficial for those with a right leg or foot amputation, or arthritis.

Additonal features

  • Quickly Release the Pedal Guard to access original accelerator

  • Seat runner mounting system doesn’t permanently modify your vehicle

Understanding that no two people’s disabilities are the same, there is no ‘one size fits all’ in the product range. Instead, each adaptation is tailored for your own level of mobility, comfort and specific driving style.

Very happy with the service and the adaption to the car. I had the accelerator pedal adapted so it can be used normally on the right side or it can be used on the left side when I am driving. I am having lessons as advised!
