That will depend on how you use your car and the adaptations you require. Someone looking for a more compact everyday SUV may have different requirements from someone who needs additional space for passengers, a wheelchair or other mobility equipment. Can JAECOO vehicles be fitted with driving aids and mobility equipment stowage?
A range of adaptations can be considered, including driving aids, easy vehicle access solutions and loading and stowage equipment. Exact compatibility depends on the JAECOO model, adaptation and individual requirements and will be confirmed as part of your Mobility in Motion assessment.
Could a JAECOO SUV help if I find lower cars difficult to access?
Potentially. The seating position of an SUV can suit some people who find transferring into or out of a lower vehicle difficult. However, higher isn’t always better when it comes to transfers. Your wheelchair or mobility device, transfer technique and individual mobility all need to be considered when choosing the right seat and vehicle height. This is where our easy vehicle access solutions come in, so you can confidently choose the vehicle you want, without worrying about getting seated.
How do I know which adaptations will work with my chosen JAECOO?
Our team can assess your individual mobility requirements alongside the vehicle. We’ll consider how you get in and out, your driving or passenger position and any wheelchair or mobility equipment you need to carry before recommending suitable adaptations and confirming compatibility.
